How PD Ratings Work

Your permanent disability rating is determined by:

  1. Medical evaluation by a Qualified Medical Examiner (QME)
  2. Whole Person Impairment (WPI) rating using AMA Guides
  3. Adjustment factors (occupation, age, future earning capacity)
  4. Final PD percentage calculated using PDRS

PD ratings can range from 0% (no permanent impairment) to 100% (total permanent disability).
